You will visit active pest control treatments, conduct on-site visits, learn how to carry out environmental risk assessments, take part in controlled firearms safety & training, conduct rabbit control using a variety of control methods, learn identification and pest control techniques, be taught to quote and set up contracts for agricultural, domestic and commercial work, explore a variety of modern & traditional trapping techniques, learn how to get pest issues on farms under control and ensure they meet red tractor audit specifications and a lot more.

Firearms training course (inhouse)

Our full-day firearms training course will allow participants to gain theoretical and practical experience in using, cleaning, and maintaining a firearm. During the training course, you will have the opportunity to fire a variety of air rifles, rimfire rifles and center fire rifles. This course is designed to give users an opportunity to gain confidence in using firearms. During the training course, you will be taught the importance of understanding your land, safe backdrops, and assessing land for risks.

Extended Firearms training course (inhouse)

With our extended firearms training package, we offer a variety of opportunities to shoot live quarry for pest control purposes. Seasons and weather depending, you will have the opportunity to shoot rabbits (lamping) Fox control or carry our Deer management. Included in our extended course is the opportunity to use thermal imagery and night vision.

Our full-day and evening firearms training course will allow participants to gain theoretical and practical experience in using, cleaning and maintaining firearms. During the training course, you will have the opportunity to fire a variety of air rifles, rimfire rifles and center fire rifles. This course is designed to give users an opportunity to gain confidence in using firearms. Gralloching, butchery and deer management course (inhouse).

Our 1 day Gralloching and deer management courses allows attendees to conduct a live stalk, once you have completed a successful stalk you will be taught to Gralloch, butcher and at the end of the day take home your days quarry, packed up and ready to eat.

Attendees must be prepared to travel; all stalks are subject to open seasons.

If you are unsuccessful on a stalk there will be a £90 + vat fee for any additional stalks

Traditional trapping course (inhouse)

Our 1-day traditional trapping course takes an in-depth look at a variety of trapping techniques. Rats, mice, moles, corvids, squirrels, and rabbits will all be included in the course. Attendees will look at the laws and legalisation surrounding trapping and how to successfully control pest species.

Ferreting (subject to viability)

AgriPest management offers a 1 day ferreting course, this course teaches you how to install purse nets, long nets and dispatch rabbits correctly. This course allows attendees to get up close and personal with our team of 9 ferrets. During the course, you will be taught how to evaluate land, manage any risks and learn to quote for rabbit control work.
