Farmers Pest Control Course
The Course
The AgriPest training program is a practical-based, one-to-one course carried out on your farm with a dedicated member of your staff. This allows our trained professionals to give you the training and tools needed to conduct a successful treatment where you have the issue.
Course Timescale
The course will take between 6-8 hours depending on the size of the farm and infestation. Included in this course will be the required contract paperwork to produce for your farm auditors and a Lantra training award.

Our training programme is carried out on your farm, this allows us to train you on the specific pest issues you face as we know no two farms are the same. A classroom environment isn’t for everyone which is why our training program is a LANTRA approved practical course.
Developing Pest Management Skills
As professional pest controllers, we spend every day being presented with varying challenges and many pests. We are not asking you to become a professional pest controller but we will be training you how to manage pest control issues on just your site. Being trained by a specialist agricultural pest controller will give you the key skill set to look after your own site.
Lantra Award
The AgriPest training programme is Lanta approved. Once you have completed the practical course you will be issued with a certificate of competence.
Ongoing Pest Control
Once you have been trained and you successfully completed any riddance (removal of infestation) you will need to set up a long-term programme to adhere to audit specifications. AgriPest training will teach you the required processes, the importance of nontoxic rodent monitoring, where and how to install monitoring stations, and how you should correctly record your pest control programme. With the correct training and supply of quality materials, the ongoing programme will be an easy process saving you on expensive pest control costs.
Audit Paperwork
This is where a lot of farmers come unstuck! recording your treatments can become a headache as the paperwork will often make little sense. This is where our AgriPest folder comes into play. An easy-to-use filing process that takes less than 2 minutes to complete, this folder would be issued to your farm auditor on their site inspection. Each training participant receives a comprehensive record folder and the relevant instructions on how to complete
it.
Supply of products and materials
Once you have completed your training course and hold the relevant certification you will be eligible to purchase rodenticides, insecticides and equipment from AgriPest. All the products supplied by us are materials we use as specialist agricultural pest controllers on a day-to-day basis. These products will ensure you maintain a high level of pest management on your farm moving forward.
Aftercare Support
At the end of the training program, you will be sufficiently equipped with the knowledge and equipment to complete your farm riddance, install a maintenance program and complete your compliance paperwork with ease. Our training course will reduce pests, cut associate costs of pest damage, lost product and eliminate any pest control contract costs.
